About Us
Dharma & Leopold's is a mother and daughter family owned business originally opened in Warrenton VA and now relocated in Stonewall Shops Square in Gainesville, VA. One of the only Children's boutiques in the Northern Virginia area, the store opened when Sam Quinn, now 7years old was due and we couldn't find fun, unique boys clothing in the local area and saw a real need for a quality children's store here.
The name of our store comes from Dharma, Mom's Chocolate Lab and Prince Leopold, daughter's Bengal cat which created our signature paw print wrapping showing the stamp of approval from them. The wrapping has become well known at baby showers in the surrounding areas (we had one mother save all the wrapping from our gifts because she liked it so much).
The philosophy behind the store is to offer high quality, unique children's clothing, gifts and decor at a fair price with unparalleled customer service. After six years many of our customers are now good friends along with their children. Customers like knowing that either Brenda or Roxanne will be there to greet them when they come to the store and will know exactly what they like and need to add to their children's wardrobe. We cater to the new trendy mom as well as carrying more traditional styles such as smocking that appeal to the Grandmother.
After many requests from customers and visitors to the area and throughout Nothern Virginia, Dharma & Leopold's is excited to be able to offer the same care and service on the website as they do in the store.
We now have a new member of the team, Lulu, a French Bulldog that Brenda rescued from the local shelter. She is in the store with Brenda and has cultivated quite a following including the mailman, UPS man and goes behind the tellers counter and our bank next door for her treats!
She would love to greet you and your children.
