Placing an Order
Orders can be placed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on Dharma & Leopold's web site. On-line ordering is straightforward and convenient; simply click the “Add to Cart” button from any product page on the web site and then follow the subsequent instructions.
Telephone orders can be placed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by calling 1-540-341-3500, if we are not available you can leave the information on our voice mail. Our Customer Care Consultants are here to provide expert assistance to our customers between 10am and 5pm (eastern), Monday through Saturday.
Payment and Sales Tax
Presently, Dharma & Leopold's accepts credit card payments from Visa and Master Card. Because Dharma & Leopold's operates in Virginia, we are required to collect 5% sales tax on orders shipped to a Virginia address. Those who live outside Virginia will not be charged sales tax for orders placed on Dharma & Leopold's but may want to consult applicable tax laws in their state.

If you’d like to check the status of your order, we encourage you to call 540-341-3500. All shipping is done in-house and packaged with great care. We will do our best to fit all of your order into one box. One of our Customer Care Consultants will be happy to check on your order for you.
Terms and Conditions
Our artisans' rates and offerings may change from time to time. As a result, prices and availability of items in our collection, including those saved in your My Favorites folder, are subject to change until orders are placed. When placing orders, charges reflected in your Shopping Cart, including merchandise prices, are subject to correction in the event of calculation or printing errors. If a pricing error occurs, Dharma & Leopold's will contact you before proceeding with your order.
Shipping time frames reflected in product descriptions are based on estimates from our artisans. Dharma & Leopold's reserves the right to amend product information and shipping schedules due to artisan delays, changing conditions and product discontinuations. In the event of a shipping delay, Dharma & Leopold's will notify you promptly, and cannot be held responsible for shipping delays beyond estimated delivery times.
While Dharma & Leopold's works diligently to review the safety of all products, Dharma & Leopold's cannot be held liable for accidents resulting in personal injury that involve a product purchased on the site. In addition, Dharma & Leopold's is not responsible for copyright, registration or licensing infringement of products sold on the site.
Security and Privacy
Because customers and their privacy are top priority at Dharma & Leopold's we use the most secure transaction software available. All credit card orders on Dharma & Leopold's are processed on a secure server. Any credit card or other personal information you provide Dharma & Leopold's is protected. If you prefer not to place your order online, we would be pleased to take your order by phone. Please call our Customer Service team at 540-341-3500. One of our customer service representatives will be happy to assist you.
Shipping Methods and Charges
Clothing, gifts, small furnishings, décor accessories and bedding are typically shipped via UPS ground service.
Standard shipping charges are based on the total price of an order and outlined in the chart below. Shipping surcharges for oversized and furniture items are in addition to the costs shown below:

Dharma & Leopold's take great care in packaging your items, to ensure safe transport to your home. Although these items are packaged properly, in some instances transit-related damage may occur. It is imperative that you inspect your order carefully when it arrives. Take the time to note any damage to your item and to the packing materials on the delivery receipt. Dharma & Leopold's will not be responsible for any transit-related damage.
Please note: All sales on discounted and sale items are final.
Dharma & Leopold's strives to provide our customers with the highest quality merchandise and an unparalleled shopping experience. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may exchange the item or we can issue a store crtedit within 30 days. Returned items must be unused, in their original condition and packaging.
Simply call us within 14 days of receipt of the item and we will issue you a Return Authorization Number (RAN), which is valid for 10 business days. If you return an item after the 10 business day window, without an RAN, and/or Dharma & Leopold's suspects an item has been used, your merchandise will be shipped back to you at your expense. Also, if you choose to return an item that was shipped to you free of charge, you will receive a refund for the item’s purchase price minus the appropriate shipping costs as outlined on our Shipping Methods and Charges section.
Upon receipt of your approved return, Dharma & Leopold's will either issue a refund for the purchase price of your item(s) to the credit card used for your purchase or ship the item you have selected in exchange. (Shipping costs cannot be refunded by Dharma & Leopold's. All shipping charges are the customer’s responsibility.) We encourage you to send all returns via insured mail for protection against loss or damage.
Cancellations
Dharma & Leopold's works to ship orders as quickly as possible. For this reason, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to cancel your order after it has been placed. If you need to cancel your order please call us ASAP (within 2 business days of placing your order) at 1-540-341-3500 and we will do our best to cancel your order. Dharma & Leopold's upholds the warranties offered by the artisans and manufacturers who craft our items. Because the scope and duration of our manufacturers’ warranties vary, we encourage you to ask a Dharma & Leopold's Customer Service Consultant for specific warranty information on products of interest.

Gift Certificates
Dharma & Leopold's offers gifts certificates to help you give the perfect gift every time. Our gift certificates are available in $50 increments ranging in value from $50 to $1,500 (or more if you’d like) and will surely delight the lucky recipient. Please note that gift certificates are non-refundable.
